
Turn Instant Pot on saute until it says HOT.
Sear the beef on all sides.
Add 1 cup water, 1/2 cup oil and deglaze the pot. Add ginger garlic paste and all spices and mix well.
Add the beef, mix well. Add the water. Turn off saute mode.
Place on lid and turn pressure on high. Set timer for 30 minutes.
While the beef cooks, heat up remaining oil in a fry pan and fry the onions until they turn dark. Dont let them burn. You will use the oil and onions later.
Do a quick release of pressure.Turn saute mode on.
Slowly mix in the flour mixture to your desired thickness.
Add in the onion and oil and cook for another 45 minutes (you can also slow cook on high for a few hours, if you have time).
Garnish with jalapenos, ginger, cilantro and some lemon juice.
Enjoy hot with naan.
